Yeah, Sugar, I remember that "baby daddy" remark. I believe it was the first time I'd seen Mrs. O, and I was shocked! How could she pander like that, I wondered! And that pulled-back hair she sports sometimes, like she can't do anything with it! My black friends would call THAT ghetto! Look, I've got this fly-away Northern European hair that I can't do anything with half the time, and if my hubby was in politics, I'd have me a wig or two! And I'm sure MO can afford herself a whole rack!

The Convention was planned so that the nominee's acceptance speech was the anniversary of MLK, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream Speech," not the anniversary of women's getting the vote.
Looks like the fix was in some time ago (even before Obama's lawyers prevented the free revote of Florida and Michigan).
Can those of us who donated and worked for other candidates get our money back?
I feel cheated. I won't donate a cent to the DNC or its candidate as long as the "leadership" is Dean and Pelosi.
Did Donna quit yet? She said she would if the super delegates selected the nominee, and neither one had enough delegates to win without the supers stepping in (as directed by Nancy Pelosi).

Briarhopper, that headband is just ATROCIOUS and as I mentioned on Sonya's blog, when she screamed, "my man", she meant that "baby's daddy" comment in the ghetto sense that we've all come to hate. More than one "baby" or not. She thought that was cute.
Sonya, you are right. I'm pretty sure that room was filled with Black folks as that was around the time he'd won the Senate seat. They are some phony asses and they get on my nerves the way they are "bamboozling" folks. They wouldn't have pulled that crap with Ted Kennedy in the room. lol
