Debate First Thoughts: Snooze Fest

What with all of this juicy information about Bill Ayers finally hitting the mainstream media, Tom Brokaw didn't ask a single gotdamn question about it and I'm sure some of those internet questions were about that. The debate was a real snoozer though I'm glad McCain was able to pull back the covers a bit more on Obama's tax plan nightmare. It will come down to next week's debate to see if McCain finally hits Obama in the stomach with his ties to terrorists.

Anyway, check out the latest awesome video from The Nose on Your Face, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Redux". --SUGAR

Sugar, I just wrote basically the same thing over on my blog, so at least I know I'm not crazy. It was tedious to watch. And I didn't even post the cool video. Damn.

Ya, I thought it was pretty boring. The questions were...meh. I mean, we all already know where they stand on everything basically. It might have been too weird if McCain brought up Ayers without first being asked. I think it would have backfired. I guess for now, it's up to speeches at McCain rallies, ads, surrogates in the news, Palin, journalists, and us bloggers to keep at Obama's background.

It's like a burden. If there were real journalists, Obama would have been gone long ago. I'm sick of worrying about the country and worrying about getting out the news. The dumb ass News should do the News. Sigh...well, only 28 days left to go.

OMG. I just watched the video! LOLOL! Perfectly crazy.

I agree that the questions were for the most part ridiculous. And tedious.

Thanks for the video. I needed a good laugh.

actually fell asleep 3 times during it. Why even bother to have them they don't answer the questions anyway.

i am glad I didn't sit up all night, watching it! but i did catch it this morning, and I just can't follow a word Obama says. he is impossible to understand, his stutters, and constant droning on and on... UGH

I think McCain won. He kept putting Obama on defense, in my opinion.

but i agree, the questions were boring. i would love to see a more personal, tough question debate.

I Found This Tidbit When I Wasn’t Watching the Debate….RE: Ayers/Obama Early Relationship

Buried, but another bit of indicator of how close Ayers and Obama must have been early on…in Ayers’ book!! (includes hat tip to the site I found it on….send them some love!)
