Blago Tells 'Em: Kiss My Ass

Can this all get any crazier? Rod Blagojevich threw down the gauntlet today and gave the Illinois legislature and the United States Senate the middle finger and then snatched his trousers down and told them all to kiss his white ass when he told us all today that he would be appointing former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris to Obama's vacant senate seat. Woot, there it is. Guess what else is there? You guessed it, "You have to give this to Burris or you are a racist!" What the hell? Now, that wasn't the exact quote used, but United States Representative (D-IL), Bobby Rush said this:

"This is a matter of national importance," Rush said. "There are no African-Americans in the Senate, and I don't think that anyone, any U.S. senator who's sitting in the Senate right now wants to go on record to deny one African-American for being seated in the U.S. Senate. ... And so I intend to take that argument to the Congressional Black Caucus." 

Lord have mercy. Really? Is that the only reason why Mr. Burris should be handed this seat? Because we need to make sure that an African-American fills it? Hell, if you ask me, it wasn't filled by one in the first place. Alright, alright, cool it zoids. Obama's African-American...ish, but is that what we really want to do--make ourselves the constant recipients of hand-outs and hand-me downs as though we have no merit of our own (political welfare)? That Mr. Burris even wants the seat, even despite all of the shitstorm following Blagojevich, is pretty sad in and of itself. But, Mr. Rush needs to cool it with the racial threats because that shit is only going to play out real quick. --SUGAR 

Obama the Magic Negro: The Problem Is?

I am sick and tired of the babysitting going on with this fucking Barack Hussein Obama. I've been listening to the drama about the Paul Shanklin parody, "Barack the Magic Negro" and I have had it. I mean, what the hell is going on? First of all, this is the back story about the song [from Newsmax.com]:

Shanklin got the idea for his controversial tune “Barack the Magic Negro” in March 2007 after reading a column titled “Obama the Magic Negro” by David Ehrenstein in the Los Angeles Times. In the column, Ehrenstein compared Obama to the stereotypical shallow black movie character that exists only to aid the white protagonist.

“Magical Negro” is an offensive Hollywood term that has been applied to characters played by the likes of Sidney Poitier, Morgan Freeman and Will Smith, to name but a few. Almost as soon as Ehrenstein’s column ran, Rev. Al Sharpton joined the anti-Obama chorus, saying the Illinois senator hadn’t done enough to champion black causes.

The resulting parody quickly rose in popularity on the Limbaugh program, playing repeatedly through March and April. In it, Shanklin imitates Sharpton shouting through a bullhorn to the tune of Pete Yarrow’s classic “Puff the Magic Dragon,” with reworked lyrics such as:

Barack the Magic Negro lives in D.C.

The L.A. Times, they called him that

‘Cause he’s not authentic like me.

Yeah, the guy from the L.A. paper

Said he makes guilty whites feel good

They’ll vote for him, and not for me

‘Cause he’s not from the hood.

Obama Tiring of Media Lovefest?

The Politico reports:

The media glare, the constant security appendage and the sheer production that has become a morning jog or a hankering for an ice cream cone – it’s been closing in on Barack Obama for some time.

Now the president-elect appears increasingly conscious of the confines of his new position, bristling at the routine demands of press coverage and beginning to chafe at boundaries that are only going to get smaller.

Well, he can go to hell. He was throwing his leg up on airplane seats, begging for media chicks to take a look between his legs at his unmagic stick a few months ago and now all of a sudden, he wants some room to be "normal". The fuck?! Did he forget what job he was interviewing for over the past couple of four years? The next four years are going to be mighty terrible.  --SUGAR

Ohhh Oprah. Not AGAIN!?

I swannee. Oprah can't catch a break with these damn writers! She needs to drop that book club until they can do some better vetting. Might have helped us avoid this mess with this long-legged mack daddy who is about to electric slide his way into the Oval Office too.....With all of her money, Oprah could care less what any of us thinks, at least you'd think, but who likes to be lied to and made to look like a fool on such a grand scale???

Anyway, if you haven't heard, another author has tricked Oprah into an endorsement only to be discovered as a phony. Check out the story here.  I wish she'd pay me a few dollars to be her oracle or something that she could consult from time to time because Gail must just be dead weight! I would have told my own best friend, "Hell no! This motherfucker is lyin'. How did he say the girl was able to throw the apple to him?!" Mark my words, the truth will finally come out about Obama too. --SUGAR

Happy Holidays?

If you celebrate Christmas, I hope you had a great holiday season this past week and I hope that this week is even more festive for you. I didn't watch much in the way of political news coverage while I was in Obamaland over these past few days, but thank God I wasn't subjected to more Obama love chanting by a three year old this time.

I'll be honest, I'm excited about having the new Administration regime take over in a few weeks because let's see him put his money where his mouth is why don't we? Wait. He didn't actually make any concrete promises on any grand scale though did he? The shit is hitting the fan in Israel and the great messiah, on vacation in Hawaii nevertheless, has said he won't comment. He may not comment now, but he'd better be studying those crib notes feverishly because soon he'll have to. Son of a bitch. Let me go and further detox. In honor of the fugged up state this nation is in, I'm going to try to get so drunk on Wednesday night I yearn to cartwheel my way home. Hopefully somebody will stop me.

Still No Word on Caroline Kennedy Coronation?

It would appear that this is the age of senseless coronations as most assuredly, any day now, N.Y. Governor David Paterson is going to fold like a yellow $7 lawn chair and name that Kennedy stick puppet to the United States Senate. Gosh, I feel a little badly about calling her a stick puppet...but not too badly. I mean, what are we teaching kids these days? In the case of Obama, I guess we are just lying to them like we lie to them about Santa Claus until they are finally old enough to have the hard truth broken to them...because be assured there are a whole lot of unsuspecting kids out there who have been told that Obama is going to deliver lots of treats and goodies over the next four years. Remember how devastated you were when you found out Santa Claus wasn't real? It'll be a lot like that for tens of thousands of kids, and adults, soon where the magical mystical phantasmagorical Barack Hussein Obama is concerned.

Anyway, I'm so disgusted with this Caroline Kennedy mess. What do I know, she just may be a great human being, but for her to even fix her watercress sandwich eating lips to say she wants that Senate seat is beyond the pale. Totally beyond the pale considering that there are others in that state who have worked a lot harder than her for the people of New York. Oh hell, why doesn't Paterson get it over with already?  Put his balls on a saucer and hand them over to Ted Kennedy for goodness sake! --SUGAR

Pelosi To Make Obama Her Bitch?

My, my. Things should get even more interesting than I could have imagined in the coming years. From the Politico.com:

In talks with Emanuel and others, sources say, Pelosi has “set parameters” for what she wants from Barack Obama and his White House staff — no surprises, and no backdoor efforts to go around her and other Democratic leaders by cutting deals with moderate New Democrats or conservative Blue Dogs.

Specifically, Pelosi has told Emanuel that she wants to know when representatives of the incoming administration have any contact with her rank-and-file Democrats — and why, sources say.

Pelosi “is not going to allow Obama to triangulate her,” said a Democratic source close to the leadership. “It’s not going to happen to her.”

Pelosi’s mantra, in a way, is “no surprises.” The speaker wants to be told when Reid is communicating with the Blue Dogs or other factions with her caucus, and she expects the same from Obama when he arrives in the Oval Office, said Democratic sources.

Now, instead of fighting with folks of the other party, Obama and his band of merry men will be fighting with Stretch and the Nevada Tool. The article claims that Rahm Emanuel owes his rise in politics to Pelosi, so Obama has in effect hired Brutus, Judas, etc. to be his Chief of Staff because at the end of the day, Emanuel is probably going to let Stretch guilt him into side-swiping Obama when she needs for him to. Should be interesting. --SUGAR

Word on Kenyan Obamas Attending Inauguration?

I still haven't heard anything about whether or not the "office of the president-elect" (pompous asshole) has announced that the Kenyan Obamas will be attending the Inauguration. Have I missed it? We are mere weeks away from the big day, so you'd think that by now we would have heard something, right? Maybe granny has opened her fat African mouth one time too many for the Messiah about the Kenyan birth and he's banished her and all of the rest of that group from coming lest they fugg his shit up some more. Including his brother living in the "hut sweet hut". Let me know if maybe I've missed the announcement. --SUGAR
