Am I missing something here? I mean, if you are doing a phone interview for a job, would you kick your feet up on your table? Hell no because you want to be serious. You are a little tense. And for your information, Yes, I sure would and have sat back and put my feet up while on a phone interview, and how you are sitting has nothing to do with your tone and how you are speaking to people.
Also, for Suzanne G., there was no cigarette, anyone who paid any attention during the election season knows that he presses his fingers together like that when he is trying to make a point. Oh, that would mean what, ohhhh, he's having a serious conversation. Gosh dang.

I don't know that it's against their laws (it could be, they do have some BS laws), but to show the sole of your shoe to someone in that way is an insult in their culture. To them, when you do that you're saying that they're dirty and gross, like bottoms of shoes are because of all of the yucky things that they walk their shoes on (camel dung, fat hairy Iranian man piss, the remains of the latest rape victim they stoned to death, etc.).That's why the reporter threw his shoes at GWB last year. (And you thought that guy learned that from watching crazy women on Jerry Springer throwing their shoes at each other.)
Knowing his pic was being taken while on that call, Hussein Obama may have been insulting Bibi in his native Muslim way.
